What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
